Cross-training is an important part of any dancer’s training.  Similar to a stretch and strength classes that you would take at your local gym, this class gives dancers a break from their regular movement patterns to stretch and strengthen other muscle groups. These exercises only benefit the dancers’ execution and effort in their rehearsals and day to day classes. This class starts with a light cardio warm-up followed by stretch and strengthening exercises, while focusing on posture and alignment throughout the entire class.

  • at least 5-6 feet of space beyond your arm span
  • flooring that is not too slippery and not too sticky
  • comfortable clothing you can move freely in
